Future Member Information
Joining the Vandeventer Middle School Band is simple. No experience is necessary, just follow the steps below.
STEP ONE
Choose Band as your #1 Elective Choice on your course card (or on HAC). Sadly, if you do not mark band as your #1 choice, you will not be in band.
STEP TWO
SELECTING AN INSTRUMENT
The process of selecting the band instrument that is best suited for you may be one of the most important decisions a student can make. Students should pick multiple instruments to try and let the band staff help guide you through selecting the instrument that is right for you.
STEP THREE
Fill out the STUDENT and PARENT INFORMATION FORMS with your parents so we know which instruments you are most interested in trying. When you submit the forms, you will able to sign up for your band try-out appointment.
STEP FOUR
Schedule an appointment at one of our instrument try-outs this Spring. You only need to sign up for one appointment.
